BlackRock will not be the ‘environmental police’ in ethical investing U-turn
Larry Fink, the CEO of the woke investment firm Blackrock, announced that he doesn’t want to be the “environmental police.” This was a dramatic change of pace for Blackrock, which has been working aggressively to implement woke ESG (environment, social, governance) investment policies. Fink has previously condemned investing in companies that use or produce fossil fuels.
