‘Blunt’ ESG scores have ‘no place’ in credit rating process, says KBRA
Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA) said environmental, social and governance (ESG) scores have “no place” in the credit rating process despite ESG risks being relevant to credit quality, arguing the “blunt” ESG scores can “distract” credit analysts from their fundamental work.
