Color Us United Spokesman Eviscerates Flawed Logic of Race-Based Quotas
Christian Watson, a spokesman for the colorblind advocacy group Color Us United, destroyed the idea that American industries should set racial quotas for hiring to exactly match census demographics. He argued that it would be foolish to force the Black Entertainment Media to have a board with exact proportions of Hispanic, white, or Asian members. And similarly, it would be ridiculous Florida’s 11th Congressional district to only hire 65-year-old staffers because of its large elderly population.
