Consumers Want Corporations to Focus on Business, Not Woke Policies: Poll

Unsurprisingly, a new poll from Brunswick Insights revealed that a majority of American consumers want businesses to focus on business, rather than evangelizing woke policies. While that may seem like common sense to most, the poll showed a staunch disconnect between what executives think consumers want and what consumers actually want. Sixty-three percent of corporate executives “agree unequivocally that companies should speak out on social issues.” Only 36 percent of consumers agreed. Additionally, 74 percent of executives believed their political speech was effective compared to 39 percent of consumers.
