DeSantis bashes ‘woke’ Disney after CEO voices opposition to ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis pushed back against Disney after the company told its shareholders it was opposed to a bill that prohibited sexual education material in grades k-3. Critics have dubbed the bill the “Don’t Say Gay” act but DeSantis refused to cave to Disney. “In Florida, our policies are going to be based on the best interest of Florida citizens, not on the musing of woke corporations.”
