Dull ‘Lightyear’ Is Another Victim Of Bored, Woke Filmmakers
Disney’s latest woke cartoon received a dismal debut at the box office, missing its expected revenue by nearly $20 million. The film “Lightyear,” which was an origin story for the famed character Buzz Lightyear, sparked controversy after featuring a scene with a lesbian kiss in the child’s cartoon. The Federalist film critic Auguste Meyrat said that was just the start of the film’s problems, writing, “It’s the work of bored people putting out a boring product for an increasingly bored audience that’s burned out on the wokeness.”
