Enes Kanter Says NBA Officials Threatened To Ban Him For Criticizing China
NBA executives tried to censor a player who criticized the Chinese Communist Party for committing human rights atrocities. Enes Kanter said that NBA officials were calling him “every two hours” after he started speaking out against China. He also claimed that two NBA officials tried to force him to take off a pair of custom shoes that urged China to free the Uyghur people, but he refused and said he would pay any fine the league levied against him. He said the league responded, “We are not talking about fines. We are talking about getting banned.” So far, Kanter has not been banned. Apparently woke NBA executives drop the act when it comes to the millions of dollars the Chinese market represents.
