EXCLUSIVE: Former McDonald’s CEO to fight woke corporate politics
Ed Rensi, the former CEO of McDonald’s, is heading up the Boardroom Initiative, a project aimed at pushing back against the woke policies that have hijacked many corporate boardrooms. The initiative includes a coalition of anti-woke advocacy groups including the Job Creators Network, the Free Enterprise Project, and Second Vote. Rensi said he hopes the project will get companies to step away from woke policies like ESG (environmental, social, governance) investing, adding, “Corporations have no business being on the right or the left because they represent everybody there and their sole job is to build equity for their investors.”
