Oreo Cookies Are Lifelong Allies of the Gay Community
Oreo cookies are no longer best served with milk. Instead, they come served with allyship for the LGBTQ community. The cookie company released a short film about a young man coming out as gay to his grandparents. Beyond a one-second scene in which the young man grabs an Oreo, you may forget it’s a commercial aimed at selling more cookies and think it’s a political advertisement.
