Starbucks’s wokeness comes back to haunt them as coffee chain closes 16 stores
In 2018, Starbucks forced its employees to attend a “woke” racial sensitivity training after an employee called the police on two black customers who were allegedly loitering. Since then, Starbucks has turned into a clown show where no one is told to leave – even if they are dangerous. This week, Starbucks announced that it would be closing 16 stores in progressive cities, including Los Angeles, Portland, and Washington D.C. because the stores have become unsafe to operate. “We cannot serve as partners if we don’t first feel safe at work,” Starbucks official Denise Nelson told employees.
