Jerry Bowyer attended a Microsoft shareholder meeting as an investor asking management why they feel the need to divert attention away from their day job and dabble in divisive political issues. Brad Smith, Microsoft President, replied that business leaders do not need to, “speak out on every issue under the sun” and should stick to issues directly related to business concerns.
