The one where caving to woke culture costs you $4 million
Marta Kauffman, a co-creator of the show Friends, cut a $4 million check to apologize for not having a more diverse cast on the 1990s sitcom. “Admitting and accepting guilt is not easy,” Kauffman said. “It’s painful looking at yourself in the mirror. I’m embarrassed that I didn’t know better 25 years ago.” The guilt money was sent to Brandeis University’s African and African American studies department.
