Unilever Tries to Save Face w/ Sale of Israeli Ben & Jerry’s Unit
Ben & Jerry’s, the woke ice cream company, continues to land its parent company Unilever in sticky situations. Last year, Ben & Jerry’s issued a boycott of portions of Israel. In response, all of Unilever’s operation in Israel was put at risk. This year, Unilever finally took a step to rein in Ben & Jerry’s. The ice cream company is no longer allowed to interfere with sales in Israel, though it will be allowed to continue to make anti-Israel statements and hold its other woke positions.
