Woke Capital and Territorial Democracy
We are, unfortunately, not especially optimistic by nature, and nor, for that matter, are we especially optimistic about the state of the nation and its politics. We continue to believe, in our dourest moments, that the “end of history” will be almost precisely the opposite of that Francis Fukuyama outlined more than 30 years ago. Rather than a global acceptance of market-friendly democracy, we see the end as a global collapse into top-down, economically planned soft-totalitarianism.
