Woke Policies Come Back To Bite University of California – Berkeley
UC Berkeley – an institution that has been cranking out woke activists for decades – is the latest victim of the woke activism. The university was notified on Thursday that it would need to cut its enrollment by one-third, a move that will cost the university an estimated $57 million. The reason? A neighborhood group called Save Berkeley’s Neighborhoods filed a lawsuit claiming that the university failed to do an environmental impact study of bringing thousands of extra twenty-somethings to town. The California Supreme Court ruled with the activists.
