DEMAND TRANSPARENCY FROM PFIZER ABOUT THE COVID-19 VACCINE<\/h1>\n

The FDA has asked a federal judge to allow it to wait until 2076 to fully release documents tied to the approval of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Responding to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)\u00a0lawsuit<\/a>\u00a0by a medical transparency group called the Public Health and Medical Professionals for Transparency (PHMPT), the FDA told the court it has 329,000 pages of documents related to the FOIA request, and proposed releasing 500 pages per month to allow for redactions of exempt material.<\/p>\n

At that rate, the FDA would fully release the records in question in about 55 years.<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0This is unacceptable.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Federal law requires public disclosure of these files. The release of the documents should also help settle the ongoing debates regarding the FDA review process and the safety and effectiveness of the Pfizer vaccine.<\/p>\n

The public\u2019s need for this information is urgent, given the trend toward vaccine mandates nationwide.<\/p>\n
